As with so many people, I love the Olympics. I love sports, I love the stories, the world all clued into a collective event. So many things about the Olympics are bad and fueled by money and greed, but I love watching athletes and people trying hard at hard things.

One thing I wasn’t expecting was so many Minions? There were soooo many Minions involved in the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics. I loved it the other night but then again, I did hit the j. The pics gathered on my phone now are less charming to me!

would swap the minions with just about anything else tbh. maybe little cheeses or pads of butter with eyes.

I’ve also been enjoying learning about the nuances of the lesser-known (to me) sports, like archery, for instance. I watched the medal showdown between China and South Korea and became obsessed with the “intimacy” between archer and the bow.

That line/smudge to me is perfect.
